基于子模型法的复合材料甲板室胶连接结构设计及承载-失效分析

Design and bearing-failure analysis of adhesive connection structure of composite deckhouse based on sub-model method

  • 摘要: 目的针对舰船复合材料甲板室与钢质主船体连接需求,设计插槽式胶连接结构,评估其承载性能及失效行为。方法采用子模型法关联整体与局部模型,仿真优选胶层参数,分析多种载荷下连接件力学响应及失效特征,开展局部加载验证性试验,多手段结合确保研究可靠性。结果获得了不同工况下连接件应力、变形数据,评估出极限承载性能及破坏特征,结果表明该连接结构性能优良、模型可靠。结论复合材料甲板室与钢制主船体采用胶连接方案可行有效,能为复合材料上层建筑应用提供有力支撑。

     

    Abstract: Objectives Design a practical adhesive connection structure between composite deckhouse and steel main hull, then to evaluate the bearing property and failure behavior of local joints under the overall load of deckhouse. Methods By using the sub-model approach, the local joints part is correlated with the whole deckhouse model, and the parametric analysis on adhesive layer is conducted by numerical simulations aiming at the composite-steel slot connection scheme. After that, we evaluate the mechanical response characteristics of the connection position at root of ship deckhouse under the action of splash load, and carry out the local destructive experiment to investigate the local failure mode of the real-size connection sample. Results Calculation results show that under the overall load of spray splashing, the stresses to be examined in all parts of the adhesive connection structure are less than their ultimate capacity of material, and a certain safety margin is retained. When the load is about 3 times size of standard load applying upon connection structure, the initial damage can be mainly found at the corner of the stiffening beam skin. When the load reaches about 10 times size of standard load, the stiffening beam skin is almost totally failed. Besides, the damage features revealed by actual loading test are basically consistent with the analysis results of refined local joints model. Conclusions This proposed slot adhesive connection structure is reliable and effective to meet the requirements of the strength performance between composite deckhouse and steel main hull, which can provide useful reference for engineering application of composite superstructure in the ship industry.
