Abstract:
Objectives The paper aims to study the influence of approximation model, consistency constraint and boundary update strategy of BLISS-2000 multidisciplinary design optimization method on its convergence performance and optimization efficiency based on OpenMDAO.
Methods Firstly, the optimization process and boundary update strategy of BLISS-2000 are given. Then, the BLISS-2000 model is established based on OpenMDAO, and the accuracy of the model is verified by mathematical examples and engineering examples. Finally, the effects of approximate model accuracy, consistency equality constraints and constraint relaxation, boundary update strategy on the convergence performance and optimization efficiency of BLISS-2000 are studied.
Results The results show that improving the accuracy of the approximate model and selecting the appropriate constraint relaxation factor and boundary update factor can greatly improve the convergence performance and optimization efficiency of the BLISS-2000. At the same time, the recommended values of the relevant parameters of the BLISS-2000 based on constraint relaxation are obtained.
Conclusions The research results can provide reference for the improvement of BLISS-2000 and the application of BLISS-2000 in the conceptual design stage of ships and marine equipment.
