Abstract:
Objective This paper aims to explore the internal load characteristics of damage cabin under near-field underwater explosion is attractive and available.
Method A cabin model was designed and applied to near-field underwater explosion experiment during prophase. The internal load characteristics including high-speed fragment, quastic pressure and jetting was analyzed based on the experimental results and applied with number simulation and theory method.
Results It was indicated that: The velocity of high-speed fragment flying to damage cabin engendered from shipboard plates could be calculated by modified Taylor plate method; The crevasse of shipboard plates were mainly resulted from shock wave pressure, and the quastic pressure due to bubble expanding entering into damage cabin would damage inner structure again; The damage from jetting was clearly discovered in this experiment, three main reason were found in this paper.
Conclusion this paper could provide available assitance for predicting the internal load characteristics of damage cabin under close-in underwater explosion.
