Abstract:
Objectives The aim of this paper is to study the influence of wind load on the safety of large container ship bridge wing structure.
Methods Investigating the variation patterns of dynamic wind loads at different vertical positions, proposing a method for applying dynamic nonlinear wind loads, utilizing ABAQUS software to solve the nonlinear finite element model of the bridge wing structure, obtaining stress and deformation results of the structure under dynamic wind load, analyzing the synergistic effects of multiple loads on structural response, comparing them with the results of static wind load structural strength calculations, and exploring the impact of dynamic wind load effects on the response of upper building structures.
Results The results indicate that the dynamic effects of wind loads significantly affect the bridge wing structure, causing periodic oscillations of the bridge wing and leading to significant structural periodic responses under the combined action of multiple loads.
Conclusions The research findings can provide important references for further understanding and considering the role of wind loads in structural design.
