Abstract:
Objectives In order to study the mechanism of shipborne equipment assessment in Floating Shock Platform (FSP) system equipped with deck simulator,
Methods the platform-deck simulator-equipment system finite element model and mechanical model are established, and the numerical simulation analysis is carried out. By changing the inherent properties of the deck simulator, it is proposed that different deck simulators are used to regulate the shock input of the equipment assessment to meet the shock test requirements of equipment.
Results The numerical results show that, when the equipment is not installed, the shock spectrum curve of the deck simulator has a peak value at its natural frequency; when the equipment is installed, the peak value of the shock spectrum can be controlled by different deck simulators.
Conclusions Therefore, the interaction between the equipment and the deck simulator changes the peak value of the shock spectrum near the installation frequency of the equipment, to regulate the frequency in shock input of the equipment.
