Rigid Vibration Isolation Characteristics of Ship Blocking Masses

  • Based on the wave analysis theory,the blocking masses attenuating propagation effect on vi-bration wave were analyzed and the influences of eccentric location on the blocking masses isolation per-formance were discus sed.The traditional flexible vibration isolation theory is known to be limited in the research of rigid vibration isolation of double cylindrical shell power cabin with blocking masses.Our re-search was carried out on the basis of the impedance mismatching principle,and proposed a set of struc-tural configurations for the bulkhead and the sea pipe system with high transmission loss,providing refer-ence for acoustic design of typical hull structure.The results show that different forms of blocking mass aggravate the wave conversions,scattering and reflection of vibration wave in the hull plates,thus the vibration and sound radiation of double cyli ndrical shell power cabin can be significantly reduced.
