Calculation Methods for the Radar Cross Section of Sea Targets

  • 摘要: 概述了海洋目标的雷达截面积(RCS)的预测方法,讨论了模型测试雷达截面积的方法、满足测试要求的条件关系式以及在波动目标条件下测试距离的关系式。对于复杂的海面船舶目标,其RCS的合成计算将遵循一定的规律。在一定的条件下,复杂形体的目标平均雷达截面积近似地由局部反射区域平均雷达截面积的算术和来确定。

     

    Abstract: In this paper, the calculation methods for the radar cross section ( RCS) of sea targets are described. The test method of RCS through a theoretical model is discussed. However, the condition relations that satisfy the test requirements and test distance relations in the case of fluctuating targets are also focused on. For the complex targets like ships, the calculation normally should follows the rules. Under the certain condit-ions, the average RCS of targets with complex shape are generally subject to the arithmetic sum of the mean RCS by local reflection area.
