Magnetic Control Mooring System for Ships Alongside and Leave Wharf

  • The magnetic control mooring system is the technology that using magnetic force instead of cables to carry on ship mooring operation. It alters the traditional way of warping by manual force, and enables ship automatically to be alongside and leave the wharf( or other ships). This new technology is an important step to realize automation or unmanned attendance of ship during operation. In this paper,it introduces the basic struccture, operating principle and application scope. It shows that the structure design is simple and easy to made, and is proved to have high reliability and good handling property.
