Uncertainty analysis of notch stress concentration coefficient of butt joint

摘要: 以典型对接接头为研究对象进行参数化建模,建立焊缝几何形状存在不确定性的有限元模型,研究对接接头焊趾处的缺口应力集中系数K_t。首先,探究采用不同类型的单元以及网格尺寸对K_t的影响,通过有限元网格敏感性分析给出单元尺寸大小和类型。沿对接接头正向提取节点应力,绘制应力分布图,给出焊趾处应力集中最大部位。然后,通过引入控制点描述焊缝几何形状的变化来真实反映焊缝几何形状的不确定性,结合实际测量的焊缝形状数据的分布规律,随机抽样得到大量的焊缝几何参数数据。最后,基于缺口应力法计算K_t,并对其进行统计分析,探究对接接头在焊缝几何参数存在不确定性时K_t的分布规律,结果表明其分布满足正态分布。

Abstract: Taking typical butt joint as the research object, parametric modeling was carried out to establish the finite element model with the uncertainty of weld geometry, and the notch stress concentration coefficient Kt at the toe of butt joint was studied. Firstly, the influence of different types of cells and mesh size on Kt is explored, and the element size and type are given through finite element mesh sensitivity analysis. The joint stress was extracted from the butt joint forward, and the stress distribution map was drawn to obtain the maximum stress concentration position at the weld toe. Then, by introducing control points to describe the changes of weld geometry, the uncertainty of weld geometry is truly reflected. Combining with the distribution law of actual measured weld shape data, a large number of weld geometry parameter data are obtained by random sampling. Finally, Kt is calculated based on notch stress method, and the statistical analysis is carried out to explore the distribution law of Kt when the butt joint geometric parameters of the weld are uncertain. The results show that the distribution meets the normal distribution.-
